Shipping

All items are sent standard second class via royal mail and proof of posting is kept for a year after posting. Small parcels automatically come with a tracking number as standard via royal mail and this can be given among request from the customer. Unfortunately large letter size post does not come with a tracking number so once its left it cannot be tracked, if you do however wish to have your parcel sent tracked or signed for this can also be done among request but the customer will be required to pay the extra for this service. If for some reason post is lost in transit I can open a claim with royal mail 10 working days after the item has been posted. Then we will be able to discuss if a refund or a replacement is most suitable for the situation.

GDPR

GDPR is how, why and when we collect, use and share information that you provide us with when placing an order. This does not apply to third parties that we do not control including paypal, stripe, clearpay, shopify or any other services you access through our website.

Our business is hosted by shopify.com platform. They provide us with the online platform that allows us to sell our products to you. Your data may be stored through shopify.com and they store your date on secure serves behind a firewall.

To complete your order i collect your name, email address and postal address including your payment information and what you have ordered. If you contact me through email or another platform this information is collected in my paper order book which is securely kept and is never given to anyone else.

If you choose to subscribe to our newsletter you will be notified with offers, information about us and shipping updates. Even if you do not subscribe to this your email may be used to contact you if there is a problem with your order or to discuss anything.

I collect your information to ensure that I can provide you with the products that you purchase, to keep you up to date with the business and to make sure you are always updated on your order.

Your information is only ever shared when necessary. Your name and postal information will be shared with Royal Mail to ensure that your order can be delivered to you. ALL proof of postage receipts are kept furthermore, they are stored securely at my office and are only used in the case of disputes with the postal service and you will be notified if this happens.

Your information is kept on your order until it is finished whereby i will print it out on a printer located at my office and i will put it with your order. The only information that will then be retained is your email address for subscription purposes or to contact you about your order. You reserve the right at any time to request for your data to be completely removed by ourselves.

When payments are made through whichever payment method the customer chooses, they will store your information as needed and will have their own GDPR policy. I do not own or control any of the payment companies used on my website.

For the purposes of EU date protection law, I, Leigh Gore am the data controller of your personal information. If you would like to access, correct, amend or delete any personal information we have about you please contact emmyandstitch@outlook.com.
